"???" Error!

Click the image to open in full size.

This error is caused by a few different problems.

1. Make sure you have the most up-to-date Media.pk2 file. Not having an up-to-date file will cause you to get this error every time you log in.

2. Sometimes, the graphics in the game are too much for your computer to handle. Certain visual effects together will cause an overload on your graphics card causing your game to crash, and causing you to receive this error. If this happens frequently, make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date, and lower the graphics of your game. You can also choose to run the game in compatibility for older versions of windows, which will put less strain on your video card. Do this by Right-clicking the ecSRO icon, selecting properties, and navigating to the tab that contains the option to run it in compatibility mode.

3. Sometimes your character can be stuck in a glitched location, causing the game to crash immediately as you log in, before you can even move or do anything. The only solution to this problem is to log into an alternate character, and contact a GM, explaining your problem to them (without spamming them) and asking them to simply move your character to a different location. That is the only way you can solve this particular instance of the "???" error.

Failed to Connect to Server.(C10) Error

Click the image to open in full size.

This error occurs when there is an error after you log out or get disconnected, causing the server to think your account is still logged in.

To fix this, log onto the server using a completely different account, and tell the GM to disconnect your C10 error account, or to restart the server.
